Chiltern Wood Recycling Project

As a social enterprise Chiltern Wood Recycling Project enlists the help of volunteers from many backgrounds,

to help them improve their personal situation with an aim towards employment if applicable.

They assist us with collections, de-nailing and recycling wood into saleable items,

such as rabbit hutches, bird tables and fire wood.

As well as this they perform many other general day to day running tasks.

Chiltern Wood Recycling Project aims to help volunteers increase self esteem and become more integrated in their community.

We also try to offer work placement opportunities for them, depending upon the workloads we have.

We train volunteers in basic wood working skills,

team working and varied work experience,

to increase confidence by giving them something worthwhile to do.
